TANUA is first and foremost a dancefloor lover and this is what makes her a super versatile DJ who creates her own style through her draws of house music, 90’s rave, acid and pumping techno.

She began her music quest as a rave lover in Mexico City collecting records and playing in her basemment. At the age of 20, her studies brought her over to Europe where the experience of living in 4 different countries dramatically expanded her passion and music knowledge.

In 2012 she got established in Switzerland and her skills behind the decks quickly brought her sound among the most famous / infamous venues in the country also making some glamorous stops in Berlin, France and Sweden.

In 2017 she founded the collective STATEMENT, a support system collective dedicated to promote fem* artists and the alternative club culture in Switzerland @thisisstatement.

NVST and TANUA are two artists of strong magnitude on their own. During this MJF edition, these two uncompromising iconic DJs join forces for the first time behind the decks for a unique and rare back-to-back.
