During the Festival, a box office is open every day from 4 p.m. until the end of the concerts.

For sold out concerts, a limited number of tickets will automatically be available for sale on the day of the show. In this case, only one ticket per person can be purchased (wristband will be placed directly on the wrist).

POINTS OF SALE

Tickets for Montreux Jazz Festival events are available at all official points of sale of our partner Ticketcorner:

• At the Festival shop, at the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, until 4 July. During the Festival, tickets will only be sold at the ticket offices located at the entrances to the venues.

Tickets cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Change of programme, cancellation, and refund

All the artists announced have confirmed their participation in the Festival. Cancellations or changes to the line-up are possible and will be announced at the box office on the night as well as on our website, our social networks and our newsletter. 

In case of a change in the line-up or the schedule, the Festival reserves the right to decide, depending on the circumstances, to refund the tickets or packages up to the price mentioned on the ticket or package (minus a fixed fee of CHF 5 for each ticket or package, in accordance with the recommendations of the Swiss Music Promoters Association).

Should the Festival or an evening be cancelled in its entirety, the tickets, packages and subscriptions will be refunded up to the price indicated on the ticket, package or subscription (minus a cancellation fee of CHF 5 per ticket, package or subscription in accordance with the recommendations of the Swiss Music Promoters Association). 

If an evening is interrupted over halfway through its scheduled duration, the ticket will not be refunded or exchanged.

In case of a refund, only tickets purchased through the official Festival channels will be refunded.

Postponement

If one evening is postponed to another date, the tickets will be automatically valid for the new date. Ticketholders will have the choice of either keeping their ticket for the new date or receiving a refund according to the deadlines and processes provided for this purpose. Ticketholders will receive information by email. Once the deadline has passed, requests will no longer be taken into consideration. 

Ticket theft or loss

In case of ticket theft or loss, no refund or replacement claim shall be considered.

Sound and image recording

It is forbidden to film/photograph/record sounds and/or images during the concerts. This also concerns live performances of the artists/groups as well as the broadcasts to the Festival screens. Violation of this rule may result in the confiscation of the equipment used and the immediate expulsion from the Festival grounds, without compensation.

Concerts and venues within the Montreux Jazz Festival may be filmed or photographed. Due to your presence at the Festival site, you agree that your image will be used without compensation of any kind.

TERMS OF ACCESS

Valid ticket

Your email confirmation cannot be used as a ticket. Only the ticket with barcode is valid. Make sure the barcode on your ticket is readable.

Print@Home tickets must be printed at home.  The organisers are not able to provide the tools to print this type of ticket on the site of the event. Anyone who has forgotten or lost their Print@Home will be refused access to the concert due to lack of a valid ticket. The Print@Home tickets can only be used once to enter the hall and lose their validity after the first check. In case several tickets with an identical barcode are in circulation, only the first presented will be considered valid. The event organiser may refuse access to the concert when several prints, imitations or copies of this ticket type have been made. Do not buy such a ticket, as you risk ending up with a ticket that has already been used!

Age restrictions

For safety reasons, children under the age of 6 are not allowed in the concert areas. All persons under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to access the concert areas. The organizers decline all liability for any injuries caused by failure to comply with this policy.

Access to the following locations is restricted to people over 18 years of age at all times: Ipanema and Pool Parties.

Access to the following locations is restricted to people over 18 years of age from 10pm: El Mundo, Ibis, Lake House.

Access to Lisztomania is open to anyone over the age of 16.

Entry to the concerts

All tickets must be exchanged for an entry wristband. The organiser reserves the right not to replace or exchange damaged or lost bracelets.

It is forbidden to bring the following items to the concerts: luggage or bulky backpacks, bottles or glass objects, cans, gourd bottles, food, animals, cameras, audio recorders, umbrellas, seats of any kind, rollerblades, skateboards, pyrotechnic objects, weapons of any kind, objects to throw, tear gas, helmets, flag poles, banners, signs and any dangerous object that may be used as a projectile. A check is carried out at the concert entrances. A free locker in which prohibited items can be left will be made available to Festivalgoers. If the owner of an unauthorised and/or dangerous object refuses to part with it, access will be refused without refund of the ticket.

Smoking is prohibited (including electronic cigarettes) inside and outside of the concert venues.

It is important to respect the concert times displayed on our website and available at the Festival site. Spectators arriving after the start of the concert will only be allowed to enter the hall at the end of a piece or, at the explicit request of an artist, during an interval. 

The Festival employees will work to offer the best comfort and safety conditions to all Festivalgoers. They have been training all year to best respond to any issues related to crowd control and risk prevention in a festival environment. Staff guidelines given at the entrances must be respected. 

RESALE TICKETS

You can no longer attend the concerts?
You have the possibility to resell your tickets, directly from your customer account!

Resale is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the concert.

General conditions

• The price of resold tickets is identical to the purchase price. However, a resale fee will be deducted from the base price.
• Resold tickets are reimbursed in the form of a credit note, valid only on our online ticketing service. This credit note has no expiry date.
• A ticket may only be resold once, by the original purchaser.
• The original tickets will no longer be valid. Only resold tickets may be scanned. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that a ticket published on social networks may be used without your knowledge. Keep it to yourself!
• As the name suggests, ticket resale is for resale only. It is not possible to exchange one ticket for another.

Resale

You have bought your tickets through our online ticketing service

In this case, you can resell them directly from your customer account:

• Resale is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the concert.
• Once you have logged in, click on « My tickets », « View my tickets », « My orders » and then « Your tickets ».
• You can then « Resell tickets » and select the ticket(s) you want.
• Please note that you will not receive any confirmation when your tickets are redeemed. Tickets will still be visible under «My orders» and «Your tickets» but no action could be taken.  Tickets are also listed under «My resales».
• New ticket holders will receive their tickets directly by email.

You bought your tickets on the Ticketcorner website or at the Callcenter

In this case, it is possible to resell them directly from their FanSALE platform, subject to certain conditions.

• Resale is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the concert.
• Tickets will be sent to the new holders by post.

Your tickets have been redeemed

• If your notes have been redeemed, the price indicated will be 0.00CHF. It will no longer be possible to take action on these tickets.
• A customer credit will appear on your account. This credit can be used for a new purchase on our online ticketing service.
• The credit note will be deducted from the total amount by clicking on the ‘redeem’ button during the purchase process.

You have put your tickets up for resale and wish to take them back

• As long as the tickets have not been redeemed, you can take them back. To do this, simply click on the ‘Resell’ button and select the seat(s) you want. If the button does not appear, this means that your tickets have been bought back.

No takers for your tickets

• In accordance with our conditions of sale, tickets cannot be taken back, exchanged or refunded.
