Hermanos Gutiérrez

Eight years separate the two brothers Alejandro and Stephan Gutiérrez. Born of an Ecuadorian mother and a Swiss father, it is from their South American roots that they draw a whole landscape of emotions. A tacit, brotherly connection binds their two souls: if one of them has a harmony and a melody is missing, the other naturally completes it. Their brilliant western sounds evoke vast stretches of desert as far as the eye can see, so it was natural for the duo to set out to conquer the United States. It was there that they seduced a certain Dan Auerbach, half of the Black Keys, who produced their fifth album El Bueno y El Mano and who joins them on guitar on one track, the aptly named “Tres Hermanos”. A consecration for the two brothers, revealed notably by their MJF Spotlight Session in 2021.
