Three urban posters by Ignasi Monreal

Ignasi Monreal has designed three posters with urban Iberian flair to represent the 53rd edition of the Montreux Jazz Festival. Created digitally, the posters blend traditional architecture and contemporary symbols. The artist was inspired by the streets of Old Madrid, revisiting the traditional azulejos, square tiles that decorate facades and indicate street names. At the center of each poster is implanted a contemporary, universal symbol that breaks with the traditional imagery.
