The MJF joins forces once again with the Polaris Festival for its opening night on November 17, 2023. One year after his show at Montreux Jazz Lab, the electronic improvisation maestro Marc Rebillet will perform in Verbier for an exceptional concert at 1’650m altitude.
The Polaris Festival returns in 2023 for its 8th edition, with the promise of a unique musical experience in Verbier. This year’s event will take place over two weekends, November 17-18 and 24-25, 2023, in the Polaris Dome overlooking the Valais resort.
The opening night, organized for the second year in collaboration with the Montreux Jazz Festival, promises to be an unforgettable experience. The center of attention will be the concert by renowned American showman Marc Rebillet, who electrified the Montreux Jazz Lab crowd in 2022. It will be preceded by a 4-hour opening set by Natasha Diggs, DJ extraordinaire, who seduces crowds the world over with her refined musical selection.
Confirmed artists for this year’s edition include names that resonate in the world of electronic music, such as Americans (rare in Europe) Theo Parrish and Ron Trent, who join Carl Craig and his uniquely flavored “Detroit Love” at Polaris. The 2023 line-up also includes essential artists such as Germany’s Dixon, Gerd Janson and Bergheim legend Marcel Dettmann.
