In a career spanning barely five years, Nigerian artist Tems has already accomplished a string of prestigious collaborations with the likes of Beyoncé, Drake, Future and Justin Bieber. From her hometown of Lagos, Tems quickly made an impression with her deep, sensual voice and by producing most of her music herself. Fusing Afrobeat, Afro-pop and R&B, she has established herself as one of Africa’s leading artists. Last year, ‘Wait for U’, her collaboration with rappers Drake and Future, won a Grammy, making Tems the first Nigerian woman to win the award.
