This San Diego trio embody all the soulful elegance of their ’60s and ’70s predecessors. An initial local buzz in 2019 brought them to the attention Bosco Mann, the famous co-founder of Daptone Records and leader of the Dap-Kings. The meeting led to recording their eponymous debut album, acclaimed by the likes of Black Pumas, Timbaland and Gary Clark Jr. The twelve tracks are fuelled with positive vibes, elevated by timeless arrangements and Josh Lane’s silken vocals.
