Andi is a New York City-based DJ and producer. As the founder of the party and label, SYNTHICIDE, she now holds her tenth-year residency at Brooklyn’s notorious venue Bossa Nova Civic Club. Her aesthetic combines her devotion to 1980s EBM, freestyle, italo, and new beat sounds which creates an exciting soundscape that is dark, sleazy and unarguably danceable. Additionally, Andi is part of the ItaloMatic crew and a resident at The Lot Radio and Gabriela, where she is able to dig and play from her extensive vinyl collection for a curated night of extended dance and dub 12” remixes.

Her own productions aim to challenge the expectations within the confines of the masculine EBM genre, often focusing on the ideas of revenge and strength through a woman’s perspective. Andi released Corpse to Corpus in 2020 and Compelling Evidence in 2023 on aufnahme + wiedergabe, as well as the Torque Force split EP with Randolph & Mortimer on Mecanica Records in 2021. Additionally, her collaborative electro-industrial project, Andi + Machino, released the Parafernales EP on Mannequin Records in 2023 and, most recently, a track with Randolph & Mortimer on Curses’ Next Wave Acid Deux compilation.
