The long love affair between the Montreux Jazz Festival and Brazil continues this summer with one of the biggest stars of Latin pop: Anitta. This singer and Rio de Janeiro native has collaborated with a huge number of pop, hip-hop and reggaeton artists, including Maluma, Ozuna, J Balvin, Cardi B, Major Lazer and Madonna. In 2016, she joined Brazilian legends Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso on stage for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Rio. Since 2019, she has reinforced her status as a global artist by releasing two trilingual albums:combining lyrics in Portuguese, Spanish and English, Kisses and Versions of me explore the different sides of her flamboyant personality.
