Faber, Sophie Hunger and Dino Brandão have come together for an album, Ich liebe Dich, released at the end of 2020. Their first collaboration is above all a manifesto of love – twelve songs in Swiss-German dialect recorded at La Fabrique studio in the south of France. The trio was born during the lockdown, united by their home region, life on tour, sleepless nights and a shared melancholy tinged with self-deprecation. To preserve the urgency and fragility of the songs, they recorded everything with six hands. Dino on drums and percussion, influenced by the Angolan rhythms he listened to with his father. Julian on bass, revisiting his youth in a punk band. Sophie on piano infused with jazz vibes.
