Cavetown was drawn to music as a child. A musicians’ son with a gift for music, he learned to play the guitar at the age of eight, and wrote his first songs and turned his teenage bedroom into a home studio. A few years later, the spark really ignited on YouTube and Bandcamp. Cavetown shared his first songs and quickly built up a community that identifies with his deep, intimate lyrics.
