Accidentally propelled to another galaxy, American footballer Flash Gordon, journalist Dale Arden and Doctor Hans Zarkov join forces with the daughter of the Ming Emperor to overthrow her father’s tyrannical reign… Produced by Dino de Laurentiis, who returned to comics a decade after Barbarella (1968), this film exploits the “space opera” trend.
