WILLSKI

It was in Paris, my hometown, that I started collecting and playing Funk, Soul, and Hip-Hop vinyls in 2013. This passion stems from my breakdancing practice, a discipline I’ve been involved in for over 20 years, which immersed me in Hip-Hop culture. As the founder of the breakdancers and DJs collective, Youpi Crew, we organize international dance events in Paris. Since 2018, I have been living in Lausanne and am part of the Lausanne-based collective, Get Down, which also organizes cultural events centered around Hip-Hop. Although I am a fervent lover of 90s boom bap and 70s Funk, I am also passionate about World Music and new releases that make people groove. For me, it’s all about sharing.

NAÏS

Naïs is a passionate music digger and artist who lives in Switzerland and has German-Moroccan roots. Coming from a rock and rap background from an early age, his passion for music has not been limited over the years. Naïs gets to the bottom of the origins of different styles and puts the pieces of the puzzle together as he pleases. For some years now, his world has been spinning at a speed of 33 & 45 RPM. In his home town Schaffhausen and the German part of Switzerland, he can be heard in alternative clubs, block parties or radio shows. As a passionate dancer, he specializes in rhythmic, organic and danceable music, with which he makes the hips of the listeners on the dance floor swing. With an affinity for electronic and synthesized sounds, he was influenced by the styles of the late 70s and 80s and has been searching for disco and cosmic songs since his discoveries. With this fusion, he makes listeners fall into a musical trance and enjoy the flight with closed eyes and a contented smile.

CHRIS K

Chris K is a Soul & Funk lover from Cologne, Germany, based in Zurich. His path into this kind of music began by listening to Hip Hop being a teenager. By the early 2000s he became more interested in the samples behind and started to dig out the records according to that but also the roots of New Jack Swing and early house. He enjoys to bring sounds back from dusty record sleeves to a deserved spotlight. Teaming up with Bluster B for Raw Gemz a few years ago made him dive into 80s funk dancefloor fillers and hidden boogie jamz that are worth to be heard. Music that is made for sun, love & happiness. So take your ticket for this mellow, soulful & groovy music journey.

BLASTER B

Straight out of a time capsule from the 80’s, Blaster B is a Funk aficionado, and member of “The Chosen Few” crew. The Lausanne native has performed in local, and international clubs, for the past 15 years. His inspiration is deep rooted from the 4 essential elements of Hip-Hop. He’s also the co-founder of Big Mood Records and performing live with his group The Electric Three. 

From recordings mixtapes to rocking dancefloors, his unique way of presenting, and preserving, the  sounds of the 80’s, will transport into his universe.
