L’Eclair

For nine years now, this Geneva-based group’s psychedelic grooves have got crowds dancing all over Europe. Following their first album in 2017, they toured Switzerland’s venues and festivals and forged a solid reputation. In concert, they are a steamroller of cool, spacey grooves. The band features an effervescent rhythm section, a guitarist who recalls the dexterity of Cory Wong, and percussive keyboards whose sounds seem to be borrowed from an arcade video game. Everything is flawlessly arranged to take the audience on a journey to the furthest reaches of the Milky Way. Their third album, Confusions, released in 2021 on Les Disques Bongo Joe, gives even more space to their signature sonic explorations.
