An international superstar with a peerless discography, Lionel Richie’s music is part of the fabric of pop music. One of the most successful artists of all time, he has sold over 100 million albums and, amongst other accolades, has been recognized with an Oscar, a Golden Globe and four Grammy Awards, and as well as being only one of two songwriters in history to achieve the honour of having #1 records for nine consecutive years. He is known for his massive smash hits including “All Night Long”, “Hello”, and “Say You, Say Me” and unforgettable collaborations like “Endless Love” with his friend Diana Ross, as well as co-writing one of the most important pop songs in history, “We Are the World,” for USA for Africa. Lionel Richie has conquered the hearts of faithful fans for five decades and continues to tour all over the world. In 2015, he ended his concert in Montreux by inviting Quincy Jones to the stage for a poignant rendition of “We Are the World”. Lionel Richie will perform this summer for the third time at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
