After twenty years wandering the surface of the Earth destroyed by a nuclear war, Max ends up in the City of Barter. The mistress of the place, Entity, invites him to a duel with Master and Blaster, kings of the Underworld. Max wins but refuses to finish off his opponent, who becomes his ally. Condemned to exile in the desert, he is taken in by a tribe of children whom he guides to the Barter City to confront Entity…
