After making her initial foray into the world of cinema as a director and actress, Marguerite Thiam ventured into the music scene with her brother Aliou. Her songs form a soundtrack to a not-so-distant adolescence, recounting intimate stories tinged with danger and sadness. Her playlists span pop, rap, and trap, but what matters most to her, who has been writing since she could hold a pen, is the lyrics. Her debut EP, Comme les Grands, released last December, immerses listeners in a dark dancefloor where bodies display their scars and embrace distorted basslines and dreamlike textures.
