Mentissa’s passion was born on television. At the age of 12, she fell in love with singing while watching the series Glee. Then in 2020, at the age of 20, she seduced millions of viewers when the four seats of The Voice turned over at the sound of her voice. Vianney, her coach, then composed a biographical song for her for a moving final, “Et Bam”. Their relationship continued on a tour of Zeniths where she opened for her mentor. The Belgian singer was then nominated at the Victoires de la musique as the best female artist of 2023. On her first album, La Vingtaine, Mentissa sings her intimate lyrics on productions that oscillate between French chanson and British pop influences.
