Originally from Porte de Clignancourt in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, Merveille grew up surrounded by Congolese music and showed a passion for singing from an early age. By the age of 7, she already knew she was going to be an artist.
She began to create her first tracks with BandLab, recording herself on her mobile phone, and decided to publish 3 tracks on her first EP ‘Peace&Love’, released in February 2023.
Equally passionate about football, it was while playing in her neighbourhood that she met her artistic team, and in particular her producers: ‘by staying in my neighbourhood, I became someone’.
Her unique, gentle voice and effective melodies reveal Merveille’s artistic maturity and innate talent. She has also surrounded herself with talented musicians and composers: Gab composes her songs and accompanies her on guitar, while Zafy adds a unique colour with his saxophone.
She draws inspiration from the likes of Tems, Stromae, Aya Nakamura and Tiakola, and has no qualms about mixing musical genres in her artistic work. A complete artist, she creates and structures all her tracks with her composers. The result is an infinite gentleness that is fully in tune with the codes of her time.
