MRCY is the story of two soul music lovers coming together. In 2021, producer Barney Lister was captivated by a live video of singer Kojo Degraft-Johnson. Both already active on the UK music scene, collaborating with artists like Olivia Dean and Jungle, the two talents met in the studio. The chemistry was immediate. On stage, the duo transforms into a seven-piece band, delivering sublime and timeless arrangements that span decades of soul and R&B, from Marvin Gaye to Sault and Anderson Paak.
