Reynald Freudiger

It was for Tangerina that Caesar Amadeus played his Eternity that day.
Tangerina was born in Lisbon, in the old Alfama district, and grew up in Bex, with her mother, under a Montreux Jazz Festival poster. She was a pupil at the Gymnase de Burier, a brilliant student according to Professor Sissoko, and a true animal rights activist – even sentenced to prison.
Her life was worth a novel. Lilas is convinced. The novel is called Vanité. It speaks of the empire of rituals on our lives in exile.
