A breathtaking stage on the lake and a return to the legendary Casino: the 58th Montreux Jazz Festival promises to be historic. Today, we unveil the names of the artists who will be making this edition truly unforgettable. On the programme, from July 5th to July 20th, 2024: iconic groups, grand debuts, eagerly awaited comebacks, and future legends, spanning all genres.
The lake and the mountains will be the natural backdrop to this breathtaking stage. With a capacity of 5,500 people (including 600 covered seats at the top of the square), the main stage of this edition maintains an intimate character that sets it apart from large open-air festivals. Like all stages of the Festival, sound will be provided by Meyer Sound, a historic partner that has helped make Montreux a benchmark in this regard.
The Casino’s programming reflects the versatility of today’s sounds, blurring the lines between jazz, afrobeats, pop and rap. Imbued with musical history, this intimate venue has also proven ideal for presenting special projects from more established artists. With a capacity of 1,300 people, its mixed configuration – seating and standing – recalls the listening comfort of the Casino’s heyday.

FESTIVAL SETUP
The construction work at the Congress Centre presented a significant challenge to the Festival team, but above all, it allowed for the conception of a completely new edition in the heart of the city. With an extended route along the quays and numerous free stages, the Festival will maintain its usual capacity of 250,000 spectators.
