If Montreux is known far and wide, it’s mainly thanks to the “Live in Montreux” vinyls.

From the very first editions of the Festival, the artists were filmed and recorded, and they were able to leave with the multi-track tapes of their recordings, which enabled them to release “live” albums without the involvement of their respective record companies.

To date, around 400 “Live in Montreux” vinyls have been released, some just after their concert, some years later. These high-quality recordings have made Montreux famous the world over, and we suggest you listen to some extracts to get a good idea of the wide range of artists who have performed in Montreux.
